Been looking for authentic menudo and caldo de res.. this place did not disappoint. Caldo de res- beef meat tender. Soup was well balanced and meaty flavored not like other place that only is flavored beef due to knorr cubes. Potato was cooked well. Partnered with corn tortilla. Menudo was really good.. i kept half so i can eat more and slowly enjoy at home. The manager is friendly and accomodating. She makes me feel welcomed. Will definately come back again.
This delicious cuisine takes time to arrive to our table because of the love care and timing in which the cooks prepare it!! Once in front of us We definitely will enjoy it and devoured it, and not thinking about the time we waited but the time we will enjoy this exquisite dishes like the Molcajetes!! Yummy!!Yummi!! We definitely will keep coming back!!! And We always tip big time !! The Katrina’s Crew deserves it!! Keep up the Good work!!
Our food was delicious! They have a lot of food options. Thought it would only be seafood but there are other things. Saw food from other tables that also looked great. We will have to go back and try more food. Saw other review say it was cold, it was warm when we went. The restaurant is cute, they have a few screens with games on which my husband loved. Tip for restaurant, get more high chairs please
My husband and I went to Katrina’s for the first time 2/11/26. We were very impressed. The food was excellent, I would say the best Mexican food we have had in NM!! The service was great, ambiance, pretty good. The food though! The salsa had such great flavor. We will be back, again and again!
Itzel was amazing!!! This was our first time coming here and we were so nervous. The atmosphere when we walked in was so nice. The decorations are absolutely beautiful and the staff were amazing. When we ordered our food came out pretty quickly and oh my goodness! That food was so delicious!!! This was the best food that we have gotten from a Mexican restaurant. It’s exactly what you would get from grandmas. This I know will be mine and my husband’s go to restaurant that’s here in town. We will be coming here pretty often!!! And the selection on the menu is huge! So many things to choose from!!! WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND!!
Yummy food, good michi and super friendly service! I wish I would’ve checked out this place sooner, definitely will be back to try other menu items!
Mom and I went to grab a beer and some delicious food. I had the caldo de res, which was really good, but missing some flavor as it had no corn or cabbage, but still good. Mom got the birria tacos which she said were really good. Service was lacking however. They were all friendly, but we waited 20 minutes to find someone to order another drink. All in all, it was decent.
I wish I would’ve taken a picture of our carne asada tacos too but wow! This place blew it out of the water. Best place in Los Lunas to eat. Great atmosphere. Great service. Absolutely amazing food. It’s hard to find good octopus in NM and this was right up there with octopus I’ve had on the coast of Mexico. Highly recommend.
I saw Katrina's on TikTok and I had to come and check it out. I'm a huge seafood lover and believe me when I tell you that I was not disappointed! The food was absolutely amazing! Full of flavor and cooked to perfection! The staff were friendly and attentive. Even though I'm from Las Cruces, I will definitely be coming back every chance I get!
Tonya was excellent super kind and total accuracy on the order, HUGE seafood selection, Pastor tacos were great. My dad liked his ribeye and my mom liked her food as well and they're tough critics - especially with Mexican food. They have quite a few menu items you'd be hard pressed to find most other places, and the quality is definitely there so if you were between here and other Mexican places in the area I'd choose here. Only suggestion is to correct the menu so the the burger prices are on there! 😃
